LET’S PLAN A WEDDING!

My name is Ron Weiler, and I am the director of music and technology coordinator at Mother of Divine Mercy Parish / Sweetest Heart of Mary church. I have you on my wedding schedule for 2026 and I wanted to reach out now to get started! Looking forward to helping you plan your wedding!
First of all, congratulations! I am SO excited to go along this journey with you - getting married in this wonderful church in the experience of a lifetime!. I have played and filmed nearly 1,000 weddings in my time at Sweetest Heart of Mary, and I just love the process of every one of them! I am a career professional musician (taught vocal music for almost 30 years) and focus now on weddings and media work (such as filming live events like weddings!). You are in good hands with me, I promise!
Today, I only need one thing from you! Please take a few minutes and watch this video (it’s in vertical orientation, so you can watch it on your phone!). This is me just giving you a rundown of the process of planning everything with me. If all you do it watch this video and click on the selection “JotForm” linked below, you’ll be good to go!
In parallel with this video, here are some useful links, including the one mentioned in the video. I know it’ll seem like a lot, but I assure you it’ll be easy!
Here is the overview of what you’ll be planning with me specifically -
Your other assignment is to complete this form. :-) There is a link at the above page, but after that, this is going to be your primary place to make these selections. I advise everyone to go through it completely the first time in “lightning round” style so you can see everything you need to know. Once you do that, you’ll be in my organization system, and you’ll be emailed a personal link where you can go in and make changes any time. It also gives me a rough idea of what you want your wedding to look and sound like and I can foresee any challenges and or areas of concern or confusion and help address them sooner rather than later!
The form will also ask you about videography. The church places strict limitations on where videographers can go during any sacred liturgy, so I always encourage people to consider having me make your ceremony video as well (you can sometimes save money with your all-event videographer if you let them know they don’t need to get as much coverage of the Mass itself.) Information is in the form - please consider it, I can provide samples if you want, but no one films this church like I do!

Finally, if you are amenable, it is very helpful to have just $100 of the $300 paid at the beginning of the process. It just helps to cover the planning time and everything that goes into being ready to make the day happen, and can spread out some of the expenses for you as well!. It is of course not required, but it does help and I would be grateful!
